about taylor

Taylor is a New York-based host and content creator. Taylor's career started in August of 2012 when he was an intern in the sports department at KTUL ABC Channel 8 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Taylor knew from that point on, that this was the industry he wanted to be in.

 

Eager to start his career in the industry, Taylor attended SUNY Purchase College and graduated with a degree in Journalism. During his time at SUNY Purchase College, Taylor played four years of college baseball as a second baseman, shortstop, and designated hitter. During his senior year, he interned for the New York Football Giants as a production intern. When he graduated college in 2017 he was a co-host of "The Sports Section" on FM 90.1 Long Island.

 

In 2018, Taylor took an opportunity to work with the Minnesota Twins as a Broadcast intern for the Minnesota Twins Radio Department. Taylor's roles consisted of interviewing players and coaches. Some of those players were Mike Trout, Lorenzo Cain, Gleyber Torres, Byron Buxton, and many more. Those interviewers were played on the radio during the pregame and postgame show. Taylor also wrote and edited scripts for on-air and commercial content, and helped produce spring training and regular-season games. 

 

Currently, Taylor is working at WFAN Sports Radio as a Tape Operator. Taylor edits and reviews game highlights that will be aired on the radio. While working at WFAN Sports Radio, Taylor also currently hosts and produces his podcast, End of the Bench. Taylor has interviewed many athletes, entertainers, and broadcasters on his podcast like WFAN radio host, Craig Carton, ESPN Sportscenter anchor, Elle Duncan, NFL Redzone host, Scott Hanson, Minnesota Twins center fielder, Byron Buxton, and many more.

 

Taylor is eagerly looking for more opportunities to work in the media industry that allows him to express his talent on the screen and behind the mic.
